365 Challenge...Day 31

Day 31 ~ I think it is time for new shin guards....

365 Challenge...Day 30

Day 30 ~ It was Sunday at Billabong Orlando and it was a slow start to the day. It ended in a crazy last hour of Brazilian tour groups where I had to play the guessing game of what they wanted and what they didn't. Part of me is happy to see the end of this month as it means the end of tour season but the other part of me will miss the busy days that fly by.

365 Challenge...Day 29

Day 29 ~ We are finally setting this up at my house again. It hasn't been in my possession for a long time because I had loaned it to a friend while I was studying for the Bar. I just got it back before Christmas and took it to my parents where we set it up for the week. Now, it has been back at my house for almost a month and we are finally setting it back up. :)

365 Challenge...Day 28

Day 28 ~ I LOVE getting stuff in the mail. Well, outside of junk mail and bills but honestly, who likes that? Anyway, I went to get the mail today and this AMAZING stamp was the first thing I saw as I opened the mail box. I had no idea how much the women of NCM would mean to me when I joined my freshman year of college but through thick and thin they have been with me for the ride. I love my little sister Haylee for taking the time to send me this amazing stamp. And while a year ago was almost the death of NCM it has brought us all closer together than I could have ever imagined.

365 Challenge...Day 27

Day 26 ~ Ana and I opted for juice tonight instead of beer. I would have rather had the no pulp version but it was ok. :)

365 Challenge...Day 26

Day 26 ~ I totally spaced uploading my picture yesterday. I even took this at around noon so I don't have an excuse. :) Anyway, this was my lovely plate from the potluck at lunch. I tried to keep it healthy with some veggies, turkey burrito and an empanada (however you spell that). I didn't do too bad, but then again you don't see the deserts I tried.

365 Challenge...Day 25

Day 25 ~ Hockey was cancelled tonight because it was supposed to get all crazy outside...it didn't. It rained, that was it. So, instead of playing hockey I got to sit in my massage chair (photo 1), watch hockey (photo 2), and bake Special K bars for the potluck at work (photo 3).

365 Challenge...Day 24

Day 24 ~ As I was leaving my house this morning I got to see this amazing view. The clouds were sitting just right to really show all the rays from the sun bursting out. Simple things in nature are really something to stop and appreciate.

Day 23 ~ I had the day off so I decided that I would go meet the Orlando Bears Meetup Fan group....the people were awesome...the Bears played terrible. :( Oh well, next season I guess....

Day 22 ~ Why everyone refers to my shoes as hooker heels I don't know but whatever...they are totally hot and almost made it the whole night without pain....

Day 21 ~ Today was margarita pedicures with Ana...They were AMAZING! :)

Day 16 ~ I bought this harmonica necklace yesterday and it was by far the best $24 I have spent in a long time. It is super tiny but works just like a normal harmonica! It was great for work today too. :) Fashion with function....

Day 15 ~ After an eventful day of stuff and then shopping with Kristina we went to a birthday dinner for a friend at Kobe. The "yum yum" sauce has to be the best part of this place. :)

Day 14 ~ For some reason this photo is not cooperating and turning....guess it explains perfectly why I had to use my ice pack to rid myself of my migraine today. This thing has been my friend over the years many a days. I'm not sure my chiropractor way back when gave it to me for that reason but it has become a near and dear item.

365 Challenge...Day 13

Day 13 ~ Yes, it was 34 when I left for work this morning. It is up to something in the 50's now but I moved away from the cold for a reason. I do not enjoy it and 34 is just too cold. On a side note, I really need to dust my dashboard!

365 Challenge...Day 12

Day 12 ~ Greatest Barbecue Sauce in the world....best Ribs resturant too if you are ever in the Cincinnati, Ohio area too. My mom usually brings me back a bottle or two of this amazing sauce every summer she goes up to Indiana.

Every summer we would go to visit my grandpa and grandma in Cincinnati. There were always a few things on the list of things to do...1) See the Reds play if they were home, 2) Make a trip to Kings Island, and 3) Eat at the Montgomery Inn at least once if not more. I miss those summer trips. I spent a lot of time with my grandpa who still loved to go to the baseball games and ride the roller coasters with me. Here is to the memories of childhood summers that were so carefree and fun!

Day 11 ~ I didn't get home before midnight last night but this cute little rainbow was in front of me on the way home last night. It was a gorgeous drive.

Day 7 ~ I took this before Kristina and I headed out on out road trip to Ft. Lauderdale...well Coral Springs. It's a day late but I didn't have access to the internet yesterday to upload the picture....

Day 5 ~ My weekday morning commute made worse by rain and drivers who forget how to drive in the rain. It amazes me that drivers in this state are so bad. I have to wonder if they are transplants or if they really are just that bad at driving.

Day 5 ~ So I get a call the other day that I won some grand prize package for Speedweek 2011. I don't really recall entering this contest but given what it involved I knew my dad would be excited. I go to pick up said prize yesterday and this is what I got...no joke - I have tickets to all 6 day of racing starting with the Bud Shootout and to top it off I have a hotel room for 3 nights the weekend of the 500. This is going to be a fun two weekends with my dad. :)

Day 4 ~ This would be the arsenal I keep at my desk...1 was my take from a gift exchange, 2 were free from volunteering at a toy drive, and the baby one I bought. And today would be Nerf War Tuesday :)
